The most mystical, mysterious time of the year, when the veil between the worlds becomes too thin — so that the most inveterate skeptics shudder, peering into the dark corners. I want to tickle my nerves, to be imbued with the magical October to the fullest.

What can you do in October that is non-magical and not related to psychological and spiritual practices — but, nevertheless, wonderful? This to-do list is for your inspiration!

  • Go through old photos with your family and listen to interesting stories about your ancestors
  • Try a pumpkin latte
  • Hang a wreath of autumn leaves and flowers (artificial or natural) on your door
  • Eat a pomegranate
  • Experiment with a Ouija board
  • Buy warm socks or a scarf made of natural wool
  • Create a magical atmosphere with the help of aromas in a diffuser or aroma lamp
  • Spend a whole weekend alone, with cake, tea and your favorite collection of horror films
  • Wear something orange or orange with black
  • Have a fortune-telling bachelorette party with your girlfriends
  • Make pumpkin soup
  • Do a big autumn cleaning and ruthlessly throw out everything that you don’t use, that is outdated or that you don’t like anymore
  • Make a bird feeder
  • Sit by the fire
  • Go to an abandoned cemetery
  • Read at least one book mysticism or horror genre
  • Have a candlelit dinner (and not necessarily in company)
  • Make a mandala from autumn leaves
  • Make mulled wine
  • Have a scary story night with friends
  • Donate to an animal shelter or nursing home
  • Take a walk under the full October moon
  • Make an apple pie with new apples
  • Walk through an autumn forest or forest park alone
  • Read Greek and Celtic myths
  • Carve a pumpkin lantern

Stay inspirated 🍁
